Directed Pickup

Directed pickup allows a user to answer a call ringing on another phone There are two types of Directed Pickup depending on what, if any, user buttons have been programmed on your phone.

With a Programmed User Button

This option applies to buttons that have been programmed on your phone for specific users. When you see a user button flashing red, simply press the button to answer the incoming call.

Without a Programmed User Button

This option applies to phones that have not been programmed to a specific button on your phone. For this option you must know the extension number of the phone ringing in order to answer the call. When you hear a specific phone ringing:

     Dial *8 (+) extension number  (+)  #    

     (i.e. *8100# – to answer a call ringing at ext 100)
